So when I took over the back end of Horror Ink (because somebody had to), I said:

“We’re doing this differently. Because Jake, no one knows what the hell you’re saying except me. And even I need a nap sometimes.”

That’s why I created Behind the Mind.

It’s not some sad little author explaining his plot like a kid defending his crayon scribbles.

This is an impartial, immersive discussion between two people—a man and a woman—who go behind the blood, beneath the burn, and inside the book. They don’t rate it. They don’t fangirl it. They talk about it like it matters.
