SOMETHING ISN’T RIGHT

5,000 VIEWS. 0 REPLIES. 0 SALES. SOMETHING ISN’T RIGHT.

By Ash Robacheaux & Wes Jaques

Ash&Ink – Declassified & Dirty

Since launching our blog in mid-June, we’ve done everything they say to do “right.”

Daily posts.

Original content.

Free excerpts.

Sexy graphics.

Controversial truth bombs.

A steady stream of dark romance, conspiracy, satire, and sacrilege—all signed, sealed, and dropped into the void.

The result?

🚨 Nearly 5,000 views. ZERO replies. ZERO book sales. ZERO public interaction.

That’s not just disappointing.

That’s statistically impossible without interference.

❓ Where Are the Humans?

Let’s break it down.

  • A brand-new blog pushing out unique daily content
  • Over 30 books across multiple genres (all digital, some free, most $5 or less)
  • A viral-ready aesthetic with dark visuals, real voices, humor, trauma, sex, and resistance
  • And yet… not one comment? Not one click-through purchase? Not one reader saying “I liked this” or “F you for writing that”?

We’re supposed to believe that many people found us—and no one had anything to say?

Nah. Something stinks.

πŸ•³️ Possibilities (aka The Black Hole Theory)

Let’s consider what might actually be happening:

🩻

1. Shadowbanning & Algorithmic Throttling

We’ve been banned from Reddit, labeled on X, and throttled by Meta before.

These systems don’t care if you tell the truth—they care if you rock the boat.

We’re dark romance with teeth.

We’re horror without apology.

We’re nonfiction that doesn’t ask for permission.

That’s exactly what the platforms try to bury.

πŸ€–

2. Bot Traffic Padding Our Stats

It’s possible some of those views are bots crawling the blog.

They inflate the numbers, scrape the keywords, and leave us thinking people are reading when they’re not.

But not all of them are bots.

Because we’ve seen international traffic spikes.

We’ve seen blog roll pings.

We’ve seen you peeking in—and choosing not to engage.

Which leads us to theory three…

🧱

3. We’re Being Gatekept.

By people.

By platforms.

By cowards who don’t want to admit they’re watching.

We’re not the good kids.

We’re not easy to shelve.

We don’t play the TikTok book review game.

And for some reason, that makes us dangerous.

πŸ’£ So Here’s the Truth:

We know you’re watching.

We know we’re being throttled, ghosted, ignored, reported, erased, and imitated.

We’re not going anywhere.

And we’re not going to shut up because Amazon made a frowny face or Reddit couldn’t handle our username.

We’ve got a new mission now:

πŸ”₯ Burn the silence.

πŸ”₯ Expose the filters.

πŸ”₯ Call out the fake inclusivity of gatekeeper platforms.

πŸ“¬ You Want Us Gone? Too Late.

We’re Ash&Ink – Declassified & Dirty now.

And every time you try to delete us, we write louder.

You can silence a tweet.

You can bury a blog.

You can slap a label on a man like Jake Bannerman or call Ash Robacheaux a threat.

But you can’t erase a truth that keeps bleeding through the cracks.

πŸ“£ Share this post if you’ve ever felt silenced, ignored, or blacklisted for telling the truth.

πŸ“š Or just say hi. Literally. Prove this isn’t a ghost town.

We’ll be right here.

Writing anyway.

Bleeding anyway.

Fighting anyway.

Because someone has to.
